Though now I find this such an enjoyable children’s movie, this was the only film seen in a cinema which I have ever willingly left from in my life. This exact moment was when I did so. I was about 3 or 4 and Matilda had just come out. My best friend used to wear her hair in two plaits just like this everyday and it reminded me of her too much so I asked to leave. I had convinced myself it was my friend getting hurt and swung with her braids by Ms. Trunchbull. Forever a scarred childhood.

Wearing two jackets isn’t normal, but when Melbourne is pissing on my parade it is.
I second that. Jumper and feather down jacket in da house on ma boday.
I bought this the other day, got home, put it on, took it off and now I have totally misplaced it. No idea where it has gone AND I tidied my room.
I bought these for a job interview at the Australian Centre for the Moving Image (coolest media museum ever) the other day. I think they will also become a new staple item in my wardrobe as I pretty much only have my black Docs which are like a million sizes too large and my brown McKinlays. EXPANSION OF SHOE COLLECTION. YES. PLEASE.
On the topic of the interview, I was told by my step-mum to apply for this customer service job at ACMI, as she’s friends with one of the women who works there which meant I would definitely get an interview. So I did. Then, it turns out her friend hadn’t even said anything yet, and when she did, I’d already been put down for an interview. I am so proud of myself, haha. Everyone there was older than me, so I’m not sure I’ll get it - they had degrees and what-have-you. I also got nervous in my one on one interview halfway through it. Meh, whatever, I’m just glad I applied and got an interview based only on my application!
I bought these Gorman dresses at the warehouse sale. So much more affordable. So expensive otherwise, but SO NICE. I will just wait till the end of every season - because I can. I DGAF.
